« Nice campsite, well located with good facilities. Staff very nice. Overall stay was let down by allowing a lot of heavy motorcycles on the campsite making a lot of noise and not a safe environment for children »

« Had a great first experience of staying at Ilbarritz Yelloh Village. It's very well organized, smooth process with booking, communication, arrival and departure. The site is laid out well, lovely bungalows, landscaped environment, had everything we needed. The swimming / water park areas are fantastic. Everything has been designed with all ages of people in mind. A fun splash pool with slides and a pirate ship. A covered, heated swimming pool, (great for rainy days) whose roof can be opened up on sunny days. A 'lagoon' play pool with slides and another circular, large jacuzzi style pool. The site also has a restaurant, entertainment, fun workshops for children, a supermarket, hairdresser, great recycling area, a surf hire company and tons of information and help if you want to visit the local area. Highly recommend! »

« The whole place is extremely clean and well laid out. The staff were excellent and the food we had one day at the onsite restaurant was very good. We enjoyed the indoor pool and liked the lane set aside for swimming. The outdoor pool and sunbeds was good too. Having our own toilet and shower etc alongside our motorhome was excellent too and we were also impressed to see the ground staff clearing the outdoor area from leaves, even during our stay. Our only complaint was the excessive noise on the Bank Holiday weekend. Whilst we appreciate it was the start of the holiday, we don’t believe enough was done to ensure noise stopped at midnight as it’s supposed to. Being very close to the bar area we feel we suffered more than we should have done. The second night I’d been advised by reception staff that I could phone the concierge if I had concerns again. The previous night noise from groups of people could be heard easily until 3am. Unfortunately on the Saturday night by 11.35pm people were still playing boules and there was lots of shouting and screeching from adults and children. It was clear this wasn’t going to stop at midnight so I called the concierge. They did come quite quickly to sort the problem, but I do wish care had been taken beforehand to ensure things were calmer. For this reason I definitely wouldn’t stay at a Yelloh Village site again. »

« We enjoyed everything apart from the animation on Friday night which went on too long and was very loud. This would prevent me recommending the village to people wanting a peaceful stay. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay, the lodge was well equipped and nicely designed. the pools were warm and well maintained. There were some nice beaches nearby and it was a great location to explore Biarritz and San Sebastian. »

« The facility of having your own bathroom and kitchenette on your own pitch was an absolute came changer for us. Only one issue the pitch slopes two ways making it difficult to level the motorhome. The site was very clean, the pools fantastic, the well stocked shop, helpful and friendly staff. We would definitely stay at a Yelloh! Sure again. »
